2015 Sentra Named Top Safety Pick by IIHS

The 2015 Nissan Sentra has just been named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The IIHS awards vehicles that provide above and beyond crash protection, including front, side and roof strength, whiplash protection and small overlap protection. The 2015 Sentra received a top rating of “Good” in all five of the IIHS’ “Top Safety Pick” categories.

New Nissan Ad Shows Off Redesigned Maxima Sedan

Autoblog has already called the fully redesigned 2016 Nissan Maxima “a sexy, rakish sedan.” But in their newest ad that premiered during the Super Bowl this February, the automaker decided to show off its immense family car qualities. Nissan Collaborating with NASA on Fleet of Autonomous Zero-Emission Cars

Nissan is going out of this world with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration with a five-year program that will explore several different futuristic driving systems, including autonomous cars, network-enabled applications, human-machine interfaces and software analysis. They will also be working on a fleet of autonomous zero emission cars, who prototypes should be up and running by the end of the year.

Nissan Ranked in Top 10 Most Googled Cars of 2014

Google just put out its year-end "trends" review, which included their Top 10 Most Googled Cars list. The list is pretty much what it seems with Google laying out the top 10 car manufacturers people searched for this year. Nissan ranked on the list this year thanks to wide public interest in top selling models, such as the Nissan Altima and Nissan GT-R.
