The Nissan Rogue is one of the bestselling crossovers on the market and one that Nissan has put a lot of muscle behind over the last few years. It’s no surprise then that the automaker is considering a hybrid version of the crossover to appeal to drivers, who want the fuel efficiency and environmental benefits of a hybrid car.

Nissan is giving auto insiders and enthusiasts a little taste of the future in their new Sway concept. Debuting at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the concept car features an arresting design that is based off of a hatchback model, but with a futuristic twist.

The 2016 Nissan GT-R is once again going for the gold. An all-new gold special edition of the popular sports car will be coming out in 2016 to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the roadster. Called the 45th Anniversary Gold Edition, the new GT-R is every speed junkie’s dream come true.

The 2015 Nissan Sentra has just been named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The IIHS awards vehicles that provide above and beyond crash protection, including front, side and roof strength, whiplash protection and small overlap protection. The 2015 Sentra received a top rating of “Good” in all five of the IIHS’ “Top Safety Pick” categories.

Autoblog has already called the fully redesigned 2016 Nissan Maxima “a sexy, rakish sedan.” But in their newest ad that premiered during the Super Bowl this February, the automaker decided to show off its immense family car qualities. This was Nissan’s first Super Bowl ad in over 18 years and they really came back into the game full force.

Nissan is going out of this world with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration with a five-year program that will explore several different futuristic driving systems, including autonomous cars, network-enabled applications, human-machine interfaces and software analysis. They will also be working on a fleet of autonomous zero emission cars, who prototypes should be up and running by the end of the year.

You may not know this, but the government really wants you to buy an electric car. I mean, they really want you to buy an electric car. As greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, many people in state and federal governments want car shoppers to seriously consider the hybrid and/or all-electric models that have come out recently. To that end, several government agencies have begun to offer incentives and tax breaks to drivers who choose say the Nissan LEAF over a gas-only model.
