Nissan is making college just a little bit more affordable and fun. Starting this year, the automaker is partnering with Enterprise CarShare to supply the service exclusively with Nissan cars. This new multi-year partnership will allow students and faculty at nearly 90 universities to drive new Nissan cars at low hourly rates. Nissan hopes that this new program will not only expand reliable and affordable transportation options to college students, they also hope that this will help showcase Nissan’s full line of cars, trucks and SUVs to a whole new demographic.
"The Enterprise CarShare program offers a convenient way for college students, faculty and staff to enjoy an extended test drive of a wide range of Nissan vehicles and to experience 'Innovation that excites' firsthand," said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, U.S.A., Nissan North America, Inc.
Students and faculty can use the cars on an hourly basis for anything from day trips with friends to grocery shopping. These kinds of services have proven to be exceptionally popular on college campuses around the U.S., as tuition and on-campus parking fees continue to climb.
But don’t worry about the kiddos once they graduate. Nissan will be there for them too with their New College Grad Program that helps recent graduates find great incentives and no haggle pricing on their next new or used car.
It is very exciting to see Nissan participating in such a worthy and important program. If you are a recent grad, contact us today to learn more about our New College Grad Program!
