How Often does Nissan Recommend an Oil Change?

The time frame can vary. Ideally, we always recommend getting an oil change approximately once every 6 months. The frequency of an oil change really depends on the vehicle you are driving, the type of oil that you are currently using in your vehicle, how often you drive your vehicle and the type of conditions or terrain you’re driving in. If you speak with one of our technicians, we can make sure you get started on the right oil change service schedule for your vehicle.

Do I Have to Pay For a Recall?

When a manufacturer issues a recall for a specific make and model of vehicle, you are not liable to pay for anything relating to the service appointment. The only thing that you have to provide is your vehicle and the time. Any needed parts will be provided by the manufacturer. Labor costs are also taken care of by the manufacturer.

When Should I Replace my Tires?

Tires should be replaced on your vehicle when you notice that your current set is starting to break down or wear down. For example, you can use the tread test to determine if your tread is getting too low. You place a penny upside-down inside the tread. If you can see any of Lincoln’s head, then it’s getting close to needing new tires. You’ll also want to watch out for cracks in the rubber, bubbles or uneven tread wear.

What Services Does Your Maintenance Department Cover?

We complete oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake service, and recall work, among many other jobs. It’s important that you have routine work done to your vehicle as this will maintain its reliability and keep it running for a long time. If you need routine maintenance completed on your vehicle or suspect that there is a problem with your vehicle, stop down to Reliable Nissan to make an appointment.

Can I Pick Up & Drop Off My Vehicle After Hours?

If you need to drop your vehicle off after hours because of scheduling conflicts, we have a very secure process that we use to make sure your vehicle is safe in our lot, and it would be safe overnight.

Will My Warranty Cover My Repairs?

A warranty is designed to cover the majority of your repairs and service, but there will be work that isn’t covered. Generally, this includes normal wear and tear. Check with our service team to find out if your needed repair is going to cost you anything.
