The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science is debuting an all-new exhibit this New Year, "Dawn of the Dinosaurs."
Covering the full Triassic period, including one of the very first dinosaurs, Coelophysis, this new exhibit is a must-see for dino-enthusiasts, especially little girls and boys who want to learn more about these prehistoric giants. The Triassic period is one of the most fascinating periods in dinosaur history, highlighting the beginning of an amazing period that lasted for millions of years.
Among the many different things visitors will be able to do at the “Dawn of the Dinosaurs” exhibit will be to see the various fossils collected by the State of New Mexico. New Mexico is one of the richest resources for dinosaur fossils, among them a crocodile-like phytosaurs and a 12-foot long erythrosuchian dinosaur, both which you can see at the exhibit.
It’s truly one of the best interactive exhibits at the New Mexico Museum that lets dino-lovers immerse themselves in this ancient world.
