The Macaroni & Cheese Festival

Help the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation by eating some delicious mac & cheese! Everyone’s favorite dish is getting the gourmet treatment as chefs from around the city create some delightfully cheesy treats. Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival

Classical music lovers will fall in love with this fantastic musical event in Albuquerque this August. The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival is Aug. 12 and is sure to be a wonderful evening of beautiful music. Attendees will hear selections from Haydn’s String Quartet No. 23, as well as Chausson’s Piano Quartet in A Major and Dvorák’s string Terzetto.

Movies on the Plaza: Finding Nemo

Albuquerque’s Civic Plaza is once again holding its Movies on the Plaza night and this month the onscreen adventure is about everyone’s favorite clown fish. “Finding Nemo” is one of Pixar’s most beloved and endearing films, and on Aug. 14, Civic Plaza will be playing the movie for a rapt audience of young and older viewers. Movies on the Plaza is set in an open-air arena at the Plaza. The event is free to public. The film is rated G.
