What's New For the 2021 Nissan Rogue?

Nissan recently unveiled a new design for the 2021 Nissan Rogue. The new model marks the beginning of a new Nissan Rogue generation. The recent Nissan Rogue has taken a new bold look characterized by a vast array of standards. It is equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield® 360 as standard in all trim levels. The 2021 Rogue has been fully revamped for optimal comfort, especially for passengers. The Nissan Rogue also has a new Platinum trim that comes with numerous upscale features.

2021 Rogue Trims and Features

The latest Rogue is available in four trims. The S, SV, SL and the new addition trim, Platinum, each possessing distinct interior, exterior, and safety features. The S provides 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and Android Auto compatibility, among other features. Upgrading to the SV includes 18-inch alloy wheels and eight-way driver seats. The SL offers 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof and leather upholstery. Finally, Nissan's newly introduced trim for the 2021 Rogue, the Platinum offers extraordinary features with its built-in navigation, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and a 12.3-inch gauge cluster.

A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the newest Nissan Rogue. This base engine produces 181 HP and 181 LB-FT of torque. This is an improvement of 11 HP and 6 LB-FT of torque when compared to the 2020 Nissan model. Standard drive configuration for the Nissan Rogue is front-wheel drive with available all-wheel drive drivetrain.

While front-wheel drive offers only three drive modes, all-wheel drive configured Rogue models offer five for more control over various terrains. These drive modes include Off-road, Snow, Standard, Eco and Sport.

2021 Nissan Rogue Safety

The 2021 Rogue is the first to include Nissan Safety Shield® 360 as standard across the entire lineup. This suite of safety features is an advanced system built to assist drivers. It includes automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic warning, blind-spot warning, automatic rear braking, collision warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and pedestrian detection. It also contains ten standard supplemental airbags to protect the passengers in case of a crash.

Furthermore, Nissan Rogue has a Fill Tire Alert System, enabling the driver to maintain the appropriate tire pressure. The ProPILOT Assist system has been enhanced with available Blind Spot Intervention and Traffic Sign Recognition.
