What's New For the 2020 Nissan Murano?

The Nissan Murano got substantial changes in 2019. Therefore, it does not get an extensive makeover in 2020. However, the Murano still comes with a number of standard features and amenities. The latest Murano gets some changes to its list of safety technology this year. Some safety features are added across the board, while others are now standard on a trim-specific basis. More driver-assist safety aids are standard on the SV trim level and higher. The same features that come standard on the SV are optional on the S, which is the base trim.

This year, the Murano ranks among the top 10 midsize SUVs. It is part of the third Murano generation that dates back to 2015. As before, you'll find exceptional value in the Nissan Murano regardless of the trim level that you choose. The Murano comes equipped with an abundance of features such as an eight-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A bold design with LED headlights, a V-motion grille, and LED tail lights completes the Murano's perfect picture.

2020 Murano Trims & Features

The 2020 Nissan Murano comes in four trim levels. The base trim is the S. It comes equipped with all the basic amenities drivers and passengers might need. These amenities include standard automatic emergency braking, a six-way adjustable driver seat, and an eight-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This trim gets a stylish exterior with 18-inch wheels finished with aluminum alloy. The base model has two USB charging ports, including a regular USB port in the front row and a USB-C charging port in the back.

The next trim in the lineup is the SV. It adds even more amenities, including an advanced safety technology package, power-adjustable front seats, and a leather-encased steering wheel. The SV gets more standard safety technology as well, such as adaptive cruise control. In appearance, its roof is finished with black roof rails for style and function.

The SL is the third trim level. It upgrades to even larger 20-inch wheels and silver roof rails. Its already dramatic front end is accentuated by prominent LED fog lights. Both rows of seats are leather-trimmed and heated. The infotainment now includes navigation, and the sound system is upgraded to a Bose with 11 speakers. The top trim, called the Platinum, features a dual-pane moonroof and premium leather seats that are ventilated and finished with quilted inserts.

2020 Nissan Murano Horsepower

2020 Nissan MuranoAll four trims of the 2020 Nissan Murano share the same engine. They are powered by a 3.5L engine with six cylinders. This engine produces a maximum of 260 HP and 240 LB-FT of torque. It is paired with the Nissan Xtronic transmission, which is a continuously variable automatic transmission. Although the engine is the same across the board, you have a choice of an all-wheel-drive front-wheel-drive drivetrain with the 2020 Nissan Murano.

Nissan Murano Safety
