What's New For The 2019 Nissan LEAF

The 2019 Nissan LEAF comes with minimal changes. This all-electric vehicle is now in its third generation. The LEAF features a distinctive V-motion grille, an iconic floating roof design, LED headlights, available 17-inch wheels with black chrome accents and a sleek roof diffuser. On the interior, the LEAF features a unique new blue-trim interior, floating infotainment screen, a drive selector, and an all-new analog/digital display gauge. With the new electric engine and battery, the Nissan LEAF is now projected to have a 150 mile range on one full charge.

2019 LEAF Trims & Features

The 2019 Nissan LEAF features three trim levels. The base level S trim offers the following key features: 110 kW AC synchronous electric motor, e-Pedal, Automatic Temperature Control, Standard Automatic Emergency Braking, and Rear Diffuser. The second SV trim level offers many of the standard features of the base S model plus the following: 17-inch by 6.5-inch Machine-finished aluminum-alloy wheels, Nissan Navigation System, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, and NissanConnect® EV with Services powered by SiriusXM® with complimentary trial access to 3-year EV and Select and 6-month Premium Plus packages. The top of the line SL trim offers many of the features found on the S and the SL trims plus the following: Portable charge cable (120V/240V): Plug into 240V wall outlet - no charging box required, Leather-appointed seats, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Around View® Monitor, and Bose® Energy Efficient Series Premium Audio System with seven speakers. Overall, the S, SL and SV trims offers many standard features from comfort to technology and convenience.

2019 Nissan LEAF Horsepower

2019 Nissan LEAFThe 2019 Nissan LEAF offers a standard 100 Kilowatt SC synchronous Electric Motor that offers up to 147 horsepower and 236 foot-pounds of torque. This electric engine receives its charge from a 40 Kilowatt-Hour lithium-ion battery which is charged by a 6.6 Kilowatt onboard charger. There is also a portable 120-Volt trickle charger to prevent the battery from being drained when not in use. The SL trim also includes a 120-Volt/240-Volt portable charger cable that can plug into a 240-Volt wall outlet. This portable charger negates the need for a charging box. Finally, the SV and the SL trims offer a quick charge port that can offer a faster charging time than the charger offered on the base S model.
