The performance aspects of the all-new 2014 Nissan Altima are truly impressive, and to highlight their capabilities, Nissan recently gave fans the chance to experience them firsthand as a part of their latest campaign, "Ride of Your Life." To pull off the task, the automaker selected a number of real-life participants to head down to California's very own Willow Springs Raceway, where they were told they would be receiving a ride in a brand-new Altima racecar. Upon their arrival, the participants were led to four Altimas, decked out in racing attire, and then taken on an incredible joy ride like no other. They cheered and screamed in excitement throughout the entire experience, but once they arrived to the pits, they exhibited a stunning reveal they never saw coming.
Members of the pit crew quickly gathered around each Altima as they pulled in and began to remove layers of the cars, including their racing stripes. Each participant looked on in confusion as the cars were stripped of their racing identities, and within moments, the only thing standing before them were standard 2014 Nissan Altimas. It turns out that Nissan had fooled them all along, making it seem as if they were riding in Altima racecars when they were really taking a spin in standard models. The stunt was all a part of the automaker's plan to show off the Altima's performance abilities and it went off without a hitch, leaving each and every participant impressed.
