The Nissan Maxima, the flagship sedan of Nissan, will be discontinued in mid-2023. The car, which has seen flourishing success since its introduction in 2009, will now be stopped and replaced by a new vehicle. However, this change does not mean that the car is an ideal replacement for many people as it is aging and not producing high value. The discontinuation of the vehicle is an immediate decision and is not subject to changes.

The Nissan Motor Corporation has announced that it is enhancing its existing CPO program in the U.S with the addition of select non-Nissan vehicles and older models from various other automakers. There will be greater access to certified pre-owned models for those who want to acquire a quality vehicle at a lower cost but may not be able to afford the prices on new, depreciated models.
 

Fermata Energy's bidirectional charger has been approved by Nissan. It will be used with the Nissan LEAF in the U.S.

The charger will allow drivers to charge their electric vehicles at home and in public. Nissan is the first automaker to approve Fermata's bidirectional charger. The approval is a significant milestone for the company.
