The famed Nissan Altima has undergone an extensive mid-cycle refresh that makes it stand out from the masses in its segment. For 2016, the midsize sedan adopts Nissan's brand-new "Energetic Flow" design language and sports an all-new V-motion grille, aggressive front fascia, revised fenders and dramatic character lines. Heavily revised for the new model year, the 2016 Nissan Altima in Albuquerque is one of the most attractive midsize sedans on the market. With a refreshed exterior design and new interior components, which include Zero Gravity seats, soft-touch seat and door panel materials, and available 5- or 7-inch displays, the Altima is difficult not to like. The new SR trim is also appealing and features everything from paddle shifters and a rear spoiler to smoked headlights and 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. In addition to this, all new Altima models receive retuned suspension and steering, updated technology, including Siri Eyes Free and NissanConnect Services, and fresh available safety components, such as Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Emergency Braking and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Once again, the 2016 Nissan Altima in Albuquerque offers two engine options: a 2.5L four-cylinder and 3.5L DOHC V6. The former generates an ample 182 horsepower and 180 lb.-ft. of torque, while the latter delivers a solid 270 horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque. The most fuel efficient out of the two is the 2.5L four-cylinder, which delivers 31 mpg combined, 27 city and 39 highway when equipped with a continuously variable transmission.
