The ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden will be the place to be this month as the Winter Wool Festival once again makes its way to the ABQ. A terrific time for animal lovers, families and those who are just curious about how wool is made, the Winter Wool Festival is sure to be a lot of fun.
This year’s festival brings together artisans and artists who weave, spin and hook fleece into beautiful works of art and clothes. Attendees will be able to see this process in action, as well as learn all about how animals and plants contribute so much to our daily lives.
Guests will even be able to meet the wonderful plants and animals who have been giving their wool and fibers to humans for centuries. Kids will love learning all about the process and getting to meet these woolly friends!
