A Christmas Story Live at Albuquerque Little Theatre

River of Lights at ABQ Bio Park

When the sun goes down, millions of twinkling lights begin to glow, turning ABQ Bio Park into a mesmerizing winter wonderland. The River of Lights is one of Albuquerque’s most treasured holiday traditions, and continues to be the largest walk-through light show in the whole state. With over 150 unique, hand-crafted displays to admire, you won’t want to miss out on this year’s light show.
Ice Skating at Civic Plaza
When: Wednesday and Thursdays from 4-8 p.m., Fridays-Sundays from 12-8 p.m. through Dec. 31, 2016

Cost: $3 for skate rentals
The ice skating rink at Civic Plaza is open for the season! This popular seasonal attraction is the perfect way to spend a weekday afternoon with the kids, and it makes for a great date spot! Be sure to take a glide around the rink before it closes at the end of December.

If you’re looking for something to do this New Year’s Eve, then be sure to check out this free event at Civic Plaza! There’s no better way to ring in 2017 than hanging out in the plaza and counting down to the New Year with company of your family, friends and neighbors. Plus, there are tons of activities for the kids, including face painting, dancing and more. There will be food trucks and a cash bar on site, so be sure to bring some pocket money and your I.D.
