The Tokyo Motor Show saw some very exciting new concepts, but one of the most impressive was the Nissan IDS. The concept is wildly futuristic and features everything from autonomous technology and wireless charging to a zero-emissions powertrain and even an in-car camera.

Coming in two driving modes: Manual Drive and Piloted Drive, the IDS features artificial intelligence technology that constantly communicates with the driver on traffic conditions, daily scheduling and possible safety hazards, basically acting like an automotive personal assistant.

The Manual Drive mode looks almost like a gaming console, while the Piloted Drive is your basic autonomous interface including a large flat screen and rotating seats that makes conversation with fellow passengers easier.

"A key point behind the Nissan IDS Concept is communication," design director Mitsunori Morita said in a statement. "For autonomous drive to become reality, as a society we have to consider not only communication between car and driver but also between cars and people."

The concept sports a 60kWh battery that provides clean energy output. The car also has a low stance that provides better aerodynamics. One of cooler aspects of the car is its Piloted Park feature that allows the car to literally park itself.
