Southwest Chocolate & Coffee Fest

If you've got a hankering for chocolate and a love of coffee, then the Southwest Chocolate & Coffee Fest is just for you! Comprised of some of the Southwest's best chocolatiers, coffee roasters and candy makers, this special event will feature chocolate eating contests, baking contests, cooking demos and live music the entire family can enjoy!

Women & Creativity: Mothers & Daughters Poetry Writing Workshop

Date: March 4-25
Location: National Hispanic Cultural Center - 1701 Fourth St. S.W.
Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Admission: $10

Discover the generational and non-traditional bonds between mothers and daughters through the use of photos, objects, personal stories and crafting poetry. All poems will be published in the photo-poetic anthology "The World is a Woman."

The Addams Family Musical

See Morticia, Gomez, Pugsley, Wednesday and Uncle Fester up close and personal when The Addams Family musical takes center stage at Popejoy Hall later this month! In a story unlike the original, Wednesday Addams is all grown up and has fallen in love with a man who comes from a family that is nothing like her own. She tells her father, Gomez, who now must keep it a secret from Morticia and the rest of the family. However, it's not before long that everything goes awry and the Addams family experience the biggest change of their lives!
