Movies in the Park: Monsters University

Bring the entire family out for an evening movie in the park at the Vista Grande Community Center on Saturday, June 14. The film of the night will be "Monsters University," a sequel to the wildly popular Pixar movie "Monsters Inc.," which has become a favorite among kids and families. Showtime begins at dusk and lawn chairs, food and drinks are welcome. The event is subject to cancellation due to weather, which will be decided on the day of the showing.

Shakespeare on the Plaza

The Vortex Theatre has joined forces with the City of Albuquerque-Cultural Services Division to provide live outdoor performances of some of Shakespeare's greatest works over the course of four weeks. Productions of "Romeo & Juliet" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be performed for fans both young and old to enjoy - with the former kicking off the series on June 19.
