Masterworks of New Mexico

Date: April 5-26

Admission: Free

Masterworks of New Mexico is a fine art show that showcases the talents of local artists who create oil and acrylic, watermedia, miniatures and pastel paintings. Select artwork during this event will also be available for purchase, if interested.

Albuquerque Renaissance Faire

Date: April 26

Location: 9201 Balloon Museum Dr. N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87113

Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission: Adults: $10, Children 4-12: $5, Children 3 and under free, Royal Feast Adult: $20, Royal Feast 12 and under $11, Feast and Faire for Four: $80

The Society for Creative Anachronism is hosting the annual Albuquerque Renaissance Faire once again this year and they're inviting everyone to come out, and participate in the fun event! Experience everything there is to enjoy about the Middle Ages during this festive faire such as archery, fencing, music, food and much more. This is an event you don't want to miss!

Gathering of Nations Pow Wow

Date: April 24-26

Location: 1 University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM 87131-0001

Admission: $14-$34

Explore Native American culture at the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow! One of the largest of its kind, this event features over 3,000 participants each year who come together to honor Indian culture through dance and song. In conjunction with this event, the Miss Indian World Traditional Talent Presentation & Show will also be held on April 24 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Please come out to support this incredible gathering and learn more about Native American customs!
